Do I need a brown English saddle if I plan to show?

I really like that saddle, but my friend, who shows equitation and hunters, said that you need a brown saddle for showing. Does that saddle come in brown?
Saddle and bridle colour isn't a prerequisite when it comes to showing. Most older showing judges tend to lean towards brown leather tack although you shouldn't be penalised for having a black synthetic saddle. This is mainly for classes that judge the horses overall look and conformation. If the class is based on riding only then they can't penalise for black tack.
A friend of mine competes in Show classes in a black wintec and black bridle and has never been penalised against it. She often wins her classes.
