Thursday, September 30th, 2010can i use any kind of branch for a crystal tree?
is it ok if i use a regular tree branch for my crystal tree? the wedding isnt all the way til december. im concerned itll break or rot... what can i do to make it last longer than a few months?
You probably need to cut the branches now and let them dryout for a while. In the sun will be best. You can seal them once they dry out with clear spray paint to make them glitter. A fresh branch is flimsey and will not support the crystal. I would say any branch will work once dried out completely. But Willow branches are really cool looking.
