Wednesday, January 26th, 2011If I used a carousel horse for a show, can I use my own transportation to school or riding on it?
In July, I go to a horse show with my horse, we'll make small classes ridden, but I want to do show jumping Hunter and working well. As my horse can not do the jumping, I heard the riding school would allow me to use one of their horses, I have vans that can carry 3 horses, I'd take the horse or riding school? Or does it all depend on the school?
If you borrow a riding school horse for show, make sure all the insurance details are clearly needed set for transport and riding. Also do so in writing about the time you need the horse, which will weave, which will provide food and hay for the day and offers travel sticky, like boots / bandages, seat cover protection poll / etc etc. The riding school would probably not take the horse for you time and money are of the essence. Have a conversation with the owner and get things straight.
