Dressage Bridle
Friday, February 19th, 2010In high level dressage competitions, are you allowed to use a bitless bridle?
No.
You must have a bit as dressage is about communication being as soft and fluid as possible. This isn't possible with a bitless bridle, you just dont have the same level of communication. And, of course, acceptance of the bit is part of the marking.
