How do I change the size of my image to 11x14 in photoshop?

The proportions seem to be off. When I try to chage the size to 11x14 at 300dpi, I get 9.372x14.

The EASY way:

Start a new document that is 11x14 inches and 300 dpi.

also open your document.

While on your document, hit ctrl A or Command A to select all
then ctrl or command C to copy it all

then go to the new document and hit ctrl v or command to paste it all there.
