Stitching on new bridle got stain on it, any way to clean it :( ?

I have a new Bobby's English Tack bridle I purchased for showing. I don't usually buy new stuff, but I really wanted something nice to show in (local shows). Well, darn it, when I first cleaned the bridle (to then oil it) some stain came off from the back of the leather and seems to have stained the decorative stitiching. I know most stitched bridles' the stitches aren't exactly white, but mine is looking shabby and it's almost brand new.

Is there anything I can do to try to get the stitching white again without hurting the leather?

Here is the bridle: http://www.windgatesaddlery.com/p-828-bobbys-fancy-stitch-bridle.aspx

We show hunters.

Just a thought..maybe one of those Clorox bleach pens or some clorox on a cotton swab and dab it on? Maybe peroxide..I know that nurses use that to take blood stains off of uniforms. Or what about going to a craft store and maybe they have a white marker that you could lightly go over it. I guess you've already asked others. We don't used raised bridles in my discipline so I'm just making suggestions and not speaking from experience!! But just dab and don't rub so the stan doesn't spread.

You can test any of the products on the wrong side on in an area that's concealed to test it first although it's probably not stitched on the back. Just a few thoughts!! Hope you get it white again!!
