I noticed an item on a horse in the Derby who looked like a halter mare ... It appeared to be a yellow leather, but with the attachment to the girth. What is this piece called. Is it to fit?
Curlin was one in the Preakness, it is called a yoke or strap, deep as you think it is a help to the jockey, in particular a young or green horse, the horse is acting in any way a jockey can slide a finger under the yoke and it helps them feel a little safer!
