I was just wondering if anyone can recommend a bit for my cob (we do prelim & novice dressage, hoping to do so elementary later in year) who tends to lean on the bit? Hes currently in a Neue Scheule Demi Anky. Thanks in advance!!
my horse used to do this and hold on to the bit. i put in a snaffle cherry roller. they cant hold on to this bit, and it works in the same way as a snaffle, so it is no harsher.
using that and getting her working properly from behind meant that she doesnt lean or hold on to the bit anymore.
have a look at the cherry roller bit.
