Stock Saddle
saddle cloths for a wide saddle and narrow horse?
i have a stock saddle i occasionally use for a Thoroughbred. the front is a bit wide on him though not excessive. when his shoulders are moving, it slightly pushes on his shoulders from side to side. are there special pads/saddle cloths out there, or should i just put extra padding up the front.
I do have an all purpose that fits, though i like to use the stock saddle at times too, so any helpful advice is appreciated. Thanks to all who answer
If you absolutley insist on using a saddle that doesn't fit him well, they do make thick fleece half-pads that I think would at least help a little.
