English riding without using stirrups/irons?
helpp! im really bad at riding without my stirrups (or irons) especially while doing sit trot. my legs and back get all stiff, how do i loosen up?
help!
Sit on the under part of yourself, actually on your seat bones and just let your legs drop down. You'll find that you are sitting deeper. If you grip with the lower leg, that will push you up and out of the saddle. Just think "long and lean" and if you legs are dropped and relaxed, everything else will follow.
