Does anyone think polo wraps are dangerous when they are used as intended?
By intended, I mean for actual POLO HORSES, as well as for horses in other sports like dressage. I am also asking about run down bandages here as well- the kind which are used on racehorses. Keep in mind that I am asking this as the sister of a polo player who uses wraps every time she plays, and as a dressage rider myself. Please, NO RUDE answers.
No, not when wrapped properly and securely. They are dangerous for cross country or trail riding where they might get wet and unravel. They are dangerous when wrapped improperly. But to someone who knows what they are doing, they are a great asset to a tack box.
