Pony Size
How do I measure my pony's legs to determine the right size for splint boots?
I have a 14.2hh Arabian pony. I just want to know how to measure his legs so I can buy properly fitting splint boots.
He's either going to wear pony or cob size boots. If you want to measure, measure from the bottom of his knee joint to the center of his ankle bone. Then go to the tack shop and measure the length of the boots. Arabs usually have tiny legs, so my guess is you're going to need pony size, but look at the cobs also just in case
