How did English Horse Back Riding Come about?
I have google, and binged and all of that and I can not find one article that talks about the history of english riding. I know it was used in world war one, but i need more information. How did it start, who started it, where did it come from, why did is start, and anything else that would be useful.
I can tell you're American. Its Horse Riding but I guess you need to know where to sit on the horse which is why you use 'back' in your question. It all started about 500BC before the romans invaded and were used in many prehistoric battles however as a sport horse riding started in the medeaval times when hunting was widly done.
