Heavy Nylon
Is it unsafe to fly a 5x8 ft nylon (heavy duty) flag from a 20 foot or so free-standing aluminum pole?
I don't know how the pole is anchored, presumably by concrete. It's in grass and looks to b a simple kit version.
The answer would depend on how resistant to bending the pole is (diameter to length ratio) and how well it is anchored to resist being uprooted by the cantilevering force when the flag is pushed by a strong wind. You need more detail to get an exact answer.
