Saddle Fittings?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
I have a high-withered, short backed, small backed Morgan. I am 5' 3" with a very small upper body and uber long legs. Pessoa's fit me awesome but my pony horribly ( to the point where he wont move). Collegiate fit him amazing but me horribly ( my body is thrown forward and me legs back). Because he has a small back the saddle has to sit more forward else the saddle and myself are sitting on his kidneys. I have no idea what kind of saddle i need to get to fit him and me. We have tried HDR, Pessoa, Collegiate, Ovation and Crobsy. But only the Collegiate fits him. And only the Pessoa fits me. Please help me out. I need something 15 - 16" with a long flap and knee rolls - Thanks
You should do a wither tracing and send it to a fitter to find a saddle that would fit you and your horse best.
Click around this website (especially under the "Saddle Fitting" tab), they have a TON of links about saddle fitting and how to do tracings, etc.

Usually, you can send in a tracing and a ton of pics of your horse in the current saddle girthed up, you sitting in the saddle, plain pics of his back and whole body (like a conformation photo), etc. They can make recommendations, and if you have a saddle fitter that is close to you, you can either have them come out to the barn to do a fitting, or you can trailer your horse over there (I would suggest the latter, so they have access to more saddles to try, and you don't have to pay a ton for a barn visit). If there are other people in your barn who would like to have their saddles fitted as well, you can all pitch in to have a fitter come out in one visit, it's cheaper that way to have them come to the barn.
