Brown riding boots - help?
My tall boots are black, but I'm thinking of buying a new pair I've seen - they're really nice but they're brown (havanna). What colour hat/show jacket etc. is correct with brown boots and are they acceptable for shows (english) and BHS exams etc?

I presume from the fact you are taking BHS exams that you are in the UK.
If so then brown boots are not correct in the show ring in the UK (although lynn russel wears them but she seems to do as she pleases anyway). I'd stick with black boots if i were you.
What colour jacket would depend on what class you are planning on doing, most horse classes you will need a green or brown tweed for, except show hacks which need a navy jacket. Dressage you will need either a navy or a black jacket and showjumping you can wear what you want
