Brass Trim

Reloading Super-X Rifle Brass?

I have 68 once-fired .300 WSM Winchester Super-X cases that I'd like to reload. However, they have a strange crimp at the case mouth that is still evident after firing. I was wondering what I can do about this crimp (in deburring/trimming/etc.), and if the cases are safe for reloading.

Many cases have a factory crimp that is evident after firing. Once the case has been squeezed down by the resizing die and opened up by the expander ball most of the crimp will be gone. the cases should then be trimmed to length and deburred.

I have reloaded many cases that had a factory crimp without a problem.
